Project Overview
An extension that feels like it was always there.

A seamless residential extension constructed with precision framing, integrating naturally with the existing structure. This single-storey timber frame extension to a family home in Zurich was designed to feel like an original part of the building — matching the roof pitch, material palette, and structural language of the existing property.
"A seamless residential extension constructed with precision framing, integrating naturally with the existing structure."
The challenge on this project was the tight programme and the requirement to work closely alongside the existing structure without disrupting the family living inside. Noblewood completed the full timber frame, roof structure, and sheathing in under five weeks — enabling the follow-on trades to begin finishing work ahead of schedule.
